Streaming Video Proposal

Considerations

1.  Videos must be Captioned

2.  Visual description for the visually impaired.

3.  Server that can be accessed by all community Colleges.

4  Clarification of authentication, i.e. how will each college authenticate.

5.  Open the pool of vendors.  FMG should be only one vendor.  PBS, Nightline, Annenberg

6.  Clarify responsibilities of the support person.

Community College selection areas

1.  Rule-of-Thumb:   Create a large list and then pare down.

2.  Subject areas are suggestions only, the selection areas are not exclusive.

3.  If you are suggesting a title and you discover another college has already requested the title, place an asterisk by the title.

Clatsop:  Psychology, Anthropology

Clackamas:  Largely unknown at this time.

Klamath CC:  Life and Environmental Sciences

Oregon Coast:  Literature and writing
